The largest diamond in this ring is a 1.02 carat princess cut diamond that’s bezel set in 14k white gold. The choice of a bezel setting for this diamond helps to protect it from the hazards of everyday wear, and it also serves to highlight the clean, elegant lines of the cut. Additionally, the silvery shine of the white gold helps to enhance the brilliant white sparkle of the diamond, increasing the overall dramatic nature of the presentation. Sitting slightly below the center stone is a halo of small round diamonds, all of which are bright cut set in white gold as well. While the halo generally follows the contours of the center diamond, its outer margins have a slightly convex shape, and this introduces a subtle contrast with the perfectly straight lines of the larger diamond in the center. Band Design and Diamond Accents
The band of this ring is straight and narrow across the bottom, with a split appearing about one-quarter of the way from the top. The diamond accents continue below the point at which the two strands come together, ending about one-third of the way down each shank shoulder.
