This stunning engagement ring features a princess cut diamond bezel set in white gold, surrounded by a halo of bright cut set diamonds, and accented by additional diamonds on the split shank below. It was created for a couple from Friday Harbor, WA, who visited our Bellevue, WA showroom several times throughout the custom design process, in addition to collaborating with our team online, to ensure every detail of their piece was perfect. Diamond Center and Halo
The largest diamond in this ring is a 1.02 carat princess cut diamond that’s bezel set in 14k white gold. The choice of a bezel setting for this diamond helps to protect it from the hazards of everyday wear, and it also serves to highlight the clean, elegant lines of the cut. Additionally, the silvery shine of the white gold helps to enhance the brilliant white sparkle of the diamond, increasing the overall dramatic nature of the presentation. Sitting slightly below the center stone is a halo of small round diamonds, all of which are bright cut set in white gold as well. While the halo generally follows the contours of the center diamond, its outer margins have a slightly convex shape, and this introduces a subtle contrast with the perfectly straight lines of the larger diamond in the center. Band Design and Diamond Accents
The band of this ring is straight and narrow across the bottom, with a split appearing about one-quarter of the way from the top. The two strands created when this split occurs diverge gently on their way up to meet the underside of the halo, and they are lined with bright cut set diamonds as well. The diamond accents continue below the point at which the two strands come together, ending about one-third of the way down each shank shoulder. Combined, the 72 accent diamonds in the halo and on the shank total 0.21 carats.

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.

- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.

- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
