Three-stone Setting
At the center of this ring is a 0.81 carat round brilliant cut diamond in a four prong platinum setting. It’s flanked on either side by a smaller round diamond, also prong set, and this arrangement brings a nice balance to the piece while simultaneously easing the transition from the large diamond at the top to the narrower shank below.
Custom Hand Engraving and Milgrain
With the exception of a small sizing bar at the bottom, the shank of this ring is covered with an elegant hand-engraved scroll pattern on the top, and a complementary wheat pattern on the fronts. All of this engraving and metalwork is completed by our expert artisans in the final stage of the production process, and that means we can customize it for you to a great degree. Options in this regard include working in some specific symbols or patterns with personal significance to you and your partner, or simply reflecting a particular style that you prefer.
Diamond and Filigree Accents
A round diamond is bezel set on each ring front directly below the center diamond. On either side of this, custom hand-made scroll filigree fills the space below the remainder of the main setting, and its flowing lines work well with the organic pattern in the hand-engraved sections for a unified, balanced look. 3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
