Six Prong Setting
The largest stone in this ring is a one carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s displayed beautifully in a six prong setting made from 14k white gold. This setting holds the diamond up significantly above the band, ensuring that it maintains its place as the main focus of the piece, and the way the prongs are arranged around the perimeter of the stone help to highlight its perfect shape. Diamond Engagement Rings
Although four prong settings are more common, the six prong setting adds a mystical and elegant quality to a design. It can make the center setting seem almost star-like, and this is just one example of the way a small detail can have a huge impact on the overall look and feel of a piece. Diamond Accents
The top and fronts of the ring are all lined with bright cut set diamond accents, which run about two-thirds of the way down each side. They produce a dazzling sparkle, and they add a glamorous flair to the ring, helping to enhance the brilliance of the lovely center without overshadowing it.

Customize
Use this design as a starting point for a custom piece.
Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.
Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
