Our experienced designers created a few different digital renders to incorporate the elements that the client loved most, including an asymmetrical layout of accent diamonds and a scattered halo. The final design featured a simple marquise solitaire engagement ring with a wedding ring featuring whimsical embellishment with accent diamonds. Design Your Own Engagement Ring
Solitaire Diamond
The only diamond on this ring is a .36 carat marquise cut gem. It is a slim cut with two rounded sides ending at a sharp point on each end. It is a timeless cut that sets the tone for the contemporary style set.
Simple and Modern
This set is a modern style with clean lines and a bezel setting around the marquise diamond. The polished metal shines on its own and emphasizes the sparkle of the center diamond. There are many different wedding band styles to pair with this engagement ring, and this client chose a v-shaped wedding ring to highlight the center stone. Solitaire Engagement Rings
Customization
There are many ways to customize this ring. To go a more vintage-inspired route, add hand engraving to the band and the sides of the bezel. Choosing a two-tone metal composition would also change the look of this ring, with yellow gold for the band and white gold or platinum around the center diamond, further enhancing the visual size of the diamond. 3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
