Center Setting
The one carat diamond at the center of this ring is round brilliant cut, and it’s cradled securely in four 14k white gold prongs. These originate at the base of the cathedral shank, rising up at an angle before turning sharply to meet the stone.
Two flower shapes sit on the shank shoulders on either side of the center setting, and a small round diamond sits in the center of each one. These diamonds add the perfect hint of sparkle, and their shape and position help link the larger stone above with the intricate floral designs below. Custom Engagement Rings
Tapered Band
The band reaches its widest point right where it meets the center setting. It tapers steadily as it moves away from the top, eventually narrowing to about half its original width by the time it reaches the bottom. Diamond Engagement Rings
An opening on each of the shank shoulders is filled with a twisting pattern of vines right up to the base of each flower, and this is continued in the small spaces below the flowers on the fronts of the ring as well.
The rest of the band down to the three-quarter point is covered with custom hand engraving in a design that seems to flow right out of the filigree sections. Finally, both filigree and engraving are lined with milgrain beading to bring some vintage flair to this classic, organic design.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
