A one carat round brilliant cut diamond sits in a four prong white gold setting at the top of this ring. The prongs curve up smoothly from below, following the lines of the diamond closely and holding it up above the shoulders of the split shank below. Two-tone Band Design
The majority of the band is made from 14k rose gold. It’s solid at the bottom, which is also its narrowest point, and it splits about one quarter of the way up each side. At this point, two thin strands continue up to the top, leaving a gradually widening open space between them. This space is filled with custom scroll-style filigree made of 14k white gold, and the combination brings a striking two-tone look to the design while also forging a connection with the white gold in the center setting. Diamond, Filigree, and Milgrain Accents
Bright cut set diamonds are integrated into the filigree as it gets closer to the top of the band. This is also where the space between the two strands is widest, providing more space for the floral scroll design to develop. The contrast between the silvery white gold and the warmer tones of the rose gold help highlight the intricacy of the detailed metalwork, and double lines of milgrain beading run up both strands of the split shank to give the ring a nice, finished feel.
