18k Yellow Gold Blue Sapphire And Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #102676 $4,138 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Center Setting
At the top of this ring, a 0.60 carat round brilliant cut diamond sits in a six prong setting made of 18k white gold. Two of the prongs meet the stone inline with the band, while the other four are evenly spaced in the areas in between. The margins of the prongs are all lined with milgrain beading, which helps give the center setting a regal appearance and a hint of vintage flair. Diamond Engagement Rings
Sapphire and Diamond Accents
As the band nears the center setting, it widens a bit on each side. The space this creates on the top surface is filled with specialty cut blue sapphires that are channel set and shaped to sit flush against each other. This provides a nice burst of color, and it also makes for quite a dramatic presentation when the ring is viewed straight on from the top, as these tapered blue sections are visible extending out on either side of the main diamond. Sapphire and Diamond Engagement Rings
At the bottom of the sapphire sections, a plain band of metal separates the shank shoulders from the rest of the band. On the fronts of the ring, bright cut set round diamonds extend from this same spot across below the center setting, all the way to the plain metal section on the other side. This adds some glamorous flair as well as some surprise sparkle when the ring is viewed from different angles.
Hand Engraving and Milgrain
The lower portion of the band, both on the top and the fronts, is covered with an angular, wheat-style pattern of custom hand engraving. This is the kind of detail that you can easily adapt to reflect a pattern or symbol with personal meaning for you and your partner, and our team can provide some examples and inspiration pieces for you to draw on if you’re not sure exactly what kind of engraving you’d like. Milgrain beading frames the engraved sections, and it surrounds the accent stones as well.

Joseph Jewelry
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
