18k Yellow Gold Blue Sapphire And Diamond Vintage-inspired Engagement Ring
Item #105788Engagement Ring Description
Blue Sapphire
The center of this piece is a princess cut lab-grown blue sapphire. It is a traditional blue sapphire tone and held in place by a semi-bezel. It weighs 1.27 carats, and upon the client's request, we kept the center stone as low to the finger as possible. Sapphire and Diamond Engagement Rings
Baguette Diamonds
On either side of the center sapphire, a channel set row of baguette diamonds is set down the shoulders of the band to the halfway point and framed with milgrain. These 20 baguette diamonds total just over half a carat. Baguette diamonds always bring an Art Deco vintage feel to a piece because of the step style in which they are cut, evoking a geometric shape and old-time glamour. Vintage Engagement Rings
Below the center stripe of baguette diamonds, there are custom-cut blue sapphires tapering in size. These match the color of the center stone perfectly and are also channel set with milgrain. These also stop at the halfway mark with the baguette diamonds.
Under the center stone on both fronts, there is a floral tri-leaf motif with milgrain and diamond accents. This would be a lovely spot for customization if you wanted to bring your own style to this piece.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
