This dazzling engagement ring features a marquise diamond prong set in the center of a pave set diamond halo, with additional diamond accents on the split platinum shank. It was created for a client from Wichita, KS, who reached out to us over the phone initially after finding a design that she liked online.

We took the information she gave us about her style, feature, and gemstone preferences, and we developed a highly-detailed CAD model of the design we proposed to build for her. She loved the model and quickly approved it to move into production. Design Your Own Engagement Ring
Marquise Center and Halo
At the top of this ring, a 1.02 carat marquise cut diamond is set in six platinum prongs. A halo of pave set round diamonds surrounds this gorgeous stone, following its contours exactly and adding wonderful brilliance to the piece. The placement of the halo also helps increase the sparkle of the center stone due to the additional light it reflects back up. Halo Engagement Rings
Diamond and Milgrain Accents
The shoulders of the shank each hold a pear shaped diamond prong set in line with the band, and these help facilitate the transition from the large marquise diamond at the top to the narrower shank below. Starting just past the points of the these pear shaped stones, round brilliant cut diamonds run down both strands of the split shank. These cover the entire top of the band, leaving only a small space at the bottom that can be used for sizing purposes.
Milgrain beading lines these bright cut set diamonds, and it also runs around the base of the halo and alongside the pear shaped stones on the shank shoulders. The fronts of the ring feature a double arch supporting the main setting, and these are accented with milgrain as well to give the ring some vintage flair and a nice balanced feel. 3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
