They had two designs that they wanted to see in CAD, but after viewing proofs of the first one, they decided to just go with that because they liked it so much. They came in again to select the baguette diamonds we would use in the ring, and they requested a small modification to our digital models before giving their approval to move things into production. Three-stone Setting
The centerpiece of this ring is a 2.02 carat cushion cut diamond, and it’s prong set in platinum. The prongs originate on the inner margin of the band, and they angle gently upward before curving over and around the corners of the diamond. The elegant curves of the setting complement the cut of the stone nicely, and the openness of the setting ensures that plenty of light can reach the the large diamond. Diamond Engagement Rings
On either side of the center, a tapered baguette is bar set inline with the band. The wider end of these baguettes is positioned up against the side of the main setting, and this facilitates the transition from the large cushion cut at the top to the narrower band below. The combination of the cushion cut and baguettes also gives a unique twist to the classic three-stone look, and the contrast in the shape of the stones adds depth to the design.
Diamond Accents
Small round diamonds are edgeless pave set down both sides of the shank, starting just beyond the baguettes on each side, and ending around the mid-point on the band. They cover both the top surface and the ring fronts in this area, with the diamonds on the ring fronts tapering as they move away from the center to perfectly fill the available space. There are also smaller diamonds bright cut set across the bridge pieces on both ring fronts, and the symbol of a cross in platinum sits between these rows of diamonds directly below the center stone.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
