Peach Sapphire
The stone in the center of this ring is a 2.63 carat peach sapphire, and the radiant cut gives it a soft, rectangular shape that really shows off its natural beauty. Its warm glow also contrasts nicely with the 14k white gold that makes up the rest of the ring, as well as the sparkling white accent diamonds, creating quite an eye-catching effect.
While they may not be the first stone that come to mind when you think of engagement rings, sapphires are often used in place of or in addition to diamonds in these types of pieces. They are nearly as hard as diamonds, making them a good choice for a piece of jewelry that you plan to wear every day. Diamond Halo and Accents
A halo of round French cut set diamonds surrounds the center sapphire, and this brings wonderful sparkle to the ring. The diamonds also help enhance the beauty of the larger stone by reflecting light back up onto it, and the slightly squared, elongated shape of the halo forms the perfect frame for the sapphire.
French cut set diamonds also continue down the shoulders of the shank to the half-way point, helping to unify the two parts of the ring and intensify the effect of the halo. After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
