Description
This stunning engagement ring features an emerald cut tanzanite prong set in the center of a halo of bright cut set diamonds, with additional bright cut and bezel set diamond accents on the split platinum shank. It was created for a client from Phoenix, AZ, who came to us with some ideas about what he wanted for his fiancee.

He had found several designs on our website that he liked, and he wanted to know what his options would be in terms of pricing and center stone for each. We helped him evaluate the various alternatives, and he then settled on a design he loved with a stone he felt was just what he was looking for. Design Your Own Engagement Ring
Center Setting
At the center of this ring is a 3.90 carat emerald cut tanzanite with a wonderfully rich blue color. The client wanted to get something larger than what his fiancee-to-be already had, which was a three carat tanzanite ring, and so we sourced this beautiful gem for him. It’s held securely in four platinum prongs that wrap smoothly around its truncated corners.
The tanzanite is surrounded by a halo of round bright cut set diamond accents, which bring some classical flair to the design and also contrast nicely with the rich blue of the larger stone. These accents continue all the way around the sides of the halo as well, creating a truly dazzling and glamorous sparkle. Unique Engagement Rings Seattle
Band Design and Diamond Accents
The band of this ring is platinum, and it splits just above the mid-point, with the two strands curving out smoothly to meet the sides of the halo at the top. Two rows of bright cut set diamond accents begin just before this split, continuing all the way up to the top as well, as each row follows one of the split strands.
There are three bezel set round diamonds on each ring front, with one right below the center setting and the other two opposite each other at the mid-point on the band. As a finishing touch, all of the accent diamonds are lined with milgrain beading, which also adds some vintage flair to the piece. Vintage Engagement Rings

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
