Three-stone Design
The centerpiece of this ring is a 0.50 carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s bezel set in 14k yellow gold. On either side of this dazzling stone, a smaller round brilliant cut diamond is bezel set, and these two together total 0.40 carats. Their relative size balances the larger center nicely, and they complete the classic three-stone setting in quite a unique way. Three Stone Engagement Rings
Relief Engraving
A lovely floral pattern is engraved all the way around the top of the band, beginning just next to the side stones in the main setting. This gives the ring a generally organic feel, and the relief style of engraving used leaves the pattern raised while the surrounding metal is cut away.
To highlight the separation even more between the raised design and the background, we used contrasting finishes, with a high polish on the design and a sandblasted finish around it. The rails that run along either side of the engraved section are also polished, which allows them to frame the pattern nicely and give the ring a satisfying finished feel.
