18k Yellow Gold Custom Three Stone Engagement Ring
Item #1399 $6,273 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Three-stone Design
The diamond at the center of this ring is oval shaped, and it’s cradled beautifully in four platinum double prongs. It’s oriented to lie lengthwise across the band, a placement that helps to give the finger an elongated look when the ring is on. The setting also holds the diamond up significantly above the band while leaving the sides quite open to allow plenty of light to reach it from every angle. Diamond Engagement Rings
Two pear shaped blue sapphires complete the modified three-stone setting in this design. They sit down on the shank shoulders, and they’re bezel set with their rounded ends nestling up close to the center diamond. These sapphires are much smaller than the diamond above, but they exhibit a rich blue color that adds a wonderful contrast to the design. Blue Sapphire Engagement Rings
Diamond and Milgrain Accents
Surrounding the pear shaped side stones are halos of round bright cut set diamonds that narrow as they near the sides of the center stone. Below each modified halo, a round diamond is bezel set, and below this again three more diamonds are bright cut set, stopping at the mid-point on the band.
All of these accent diamonds are lined with milgrain beading for a lovely, vintage-inspired touch in this otherwise contemporary design. They define the shape of the shank shoulders as well, since the margins of their settings are also the outer limits of the band.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
