Center Diamond
The centerpiece of this ring is a one carat round brilliant cut diamond. It’s double prong set in white gold, with the small tips of these prongs being the only parts of the setting visible when the ring is viewed straight on from the top. This presents the diamond front and center, helping to highlight the perfect shape and stunning fire of this gorgeous gem.
Sapphire and Diamond Accents
There are five princess cut blue sapphires running down each shank shoulder, and these bring a stunning and dramatic contrast to the design. They’re channel set, and they span nearly the entire band, leaving just a narrow rail on either side. Their inclusion helps intensify the brilliance of the center diamond, and they also contribute their own rich color to add complexity to the design. Diamond Engagement Rings
There are six diamonds bright cut set on each ring front, directly below the main diamond. These are arranged in two rows, with three on the bottom in a line, and three on the top. The diamonds in the top row each have their own triangular space to inhabit, which when put together, gives the appearance of a crown shape on either side of the main setting.
Hand Engraving and Filigree
Below the sapphires on both the top and fronts of the ring, a beautiful wheat-style pattern is hand-engraved all the way down nearly to the bottom. This is lined with milgrain beading, as are the accent sapphires and diamonds. As a finishing touch, a flowing scroll filigree fills the space below the sapphires on each shank shoulder, and this reinforces the vintage themes while complementing the pattern of the hand engraving nicely.
