Sapphire Center
At the center of this ring is a 0.74 carat round yellow sapphire. It’s held in place by four palladium prongs, which originate in the halo that surrounds the center stone. Sapphires have long been used as an alternative to diamonds in engagement rings, and the wide variety of colors they come in gives you the opportunity to choose one with special meaning for you and your partner. In fact, this is a great place to start when you’re thinking about customizing a ring like this. For instance, you could choose to go with a pink sapphire rather than the yellow to add some romantic overtones while still keeping the floral themes consistent. Other color options include blue, green, white, and purple, and there are a wide variety of shades within each color group. One of a Kind Engagement Rings
Diamond Halo and Shank
Surrounding the large sapphire in the center is a halo of shared prong set diamonds, which adds a lovely contrast as well as a dazzling and glamorous sparkle. There are two different sizes of diamonds in the halo, and these are arranged in an alternating pattern to help enhance the floral look of the piece.
The prongs that hold the halo diamonds curve outward and up from the band, creating an ornate basket under the center setting. The shank below is relatively narrow, and it features a knife edge, which gives it a delicate appearance that ensures the large center setting remains the main focus of the piece.

Joseph Jewelry
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
