18k Yellow Gold Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #102672 $4,104 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Center Diamond
At the top of this ring, a 0.75 carat round brilliant cut diamond is held in place by eight talon prongs. Each of the prongs is lined with double rows of milgrain beading, and this makes the tops look like tiny hearts when they’re seen from the top down as they encircle the center stone, adding a lovely hint of romance to the design.
Diamond and Milgrain Accents
Bright cut set diamonds run down the shank shoulders, with three on each side evenly spaced. There are also diamond accents on the ring fronts, with bright cut set diamonds lining the bridge piece running below the center setting and bezel set diamonds worked into the filigree swirls that fill the space between the prongs. All of these accents are framed beautifully by lines of delicate milgrain beading, and milgrain lines the filigree shapes as well. Diamond Engagement Rings
Customization Options
If you’re interested in customizing this design, there are several ways to begin. For instance, you may want to choose a different shape or type of stone for the center. You could also experiment with removing the milgrain to create a more contemporary look, or you could switch to rose gold for the metal to take things in more vintage direction. Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
