When you’re ready to get the custom design process started, you can visit our Bellevue, WA showroom in person, or you can reach out to us online. The Ring Builder feature on our website allows you to select the types of features you prefer, as well as the kind of center stone you have in mind, and our team will use that information to come up with an original design tailored to your specifications. You can modify this initial model as many times as you’d like, and only when you’re completely satisfied that we’ve captured your vision will we turn things over to our expert artisans to begin production. Center Diamond
At the center of this piece, a large oval diamond is prong set lengthwise across the band, and the four flat prongs holding it in place are made of 18k white gold. The wide, angular nature of these prongs contrasts subtly with the elegant curves of the diamond, helping to highlight the stone’s natural beauty and perfect cut.
Band Design and Diamond Accents
The prongs on the sides of the diamond rise straight up from the band below, and they even maintain the same width throughout this transition. This gives the piece a more contemporary flair, with the simple straight lines of the gallery below the main setting continuing this theme. Unique Engagement Rings Seattle
Rows of round bright cut set diamonds run down each shank shoulder to the mid-point on the band. These add a hint of classical elegance to the piece, and you could enhance this effect further by adding lines of milgrain beading to frame them. Another option, if you’re thinking about customizing this design, would be to switch to a colored metal like rose or yellow gold to add some contrast and vintage warmth.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
