Center Setting
The centerpiece of this ring is a large, round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s held in place by four white gold prongs. These prongs emerge from within the surrounding halo, holding the center diamond up substantially above the rest of the ring. This allows a clear view of it from all sides, and it ensures plenty of light reaches the stone to help increase its brilliant shine.
Unique Halo and Diamond Accents
Two clover-shaped loops of metal sit, one on top of the other and with their corners staggered, just below the level of the bottom of the center stone. These are lined with double rows of milgrain beading on their outer margin, and they hold round diamonds tucked into each corner section. This creates a halo effect with a unique stylistic twist, and the milgrain brings a healthy dose of vintage flair as well. Vintage Engagement Rings Seattle
Adding to the sparkle of the piece, round diamond accents are split prong set down the shank shoulders to about the mid-point on each side. These emphasize the delicate look of the band as well, and they tie in nicely with the diamonds in the center setting to create a complete, balanced design. After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
