18k Yellow Gold Diamond Halo Engagement Ring
Item #103645 $5,601 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Center Setting and Halo
At the top of this ring, a large round brilliant cut diamond is bezel set in 18k white gold. This setting lifts the stone up slightly above the surrounding halo of bright cut set diamonds, the inner ring of which follows the general contours of the stone. The halo extends out into corners at the compass positions, however, and it also includes rounded corner sections that fill out a more squared shape that defines the margins of the center setting. Each of these corner sections holds an additional three bright cut set diamonds, and it gives the impression of a pair of off-set, overlapping halos when the piece is viewed straight on from the top. Small round diamonds are also bright cut set in lines down the sides and across the bottom of the center setting on each ring front, and a larger bezel set diamond sits in the middle of the basket below the halo on both sides as well. Band Design and Diamond Accents
The band is narrowest at the bottom, widening gradually as it moves up each side before splitting into two strands about one-quarter of the way from the top. Three round diamonds are bright cut set in a line running up from the mid-point on each side, and above these, a horizontal line of smaller bright cut set diamonds crosses the band. The split occurs just beyond this point, and the two strands are also lined with bright cut set diamond accents all the way up to the sides of the halo.
Hand Engraving and Milgrain
Below the diamond accents on the top and fronts of the band, a wheat pattern is hand-engraved, and this is only interrupted at the very bottom of the band to allow for a sizing bar. The engraved section, along with all of the diamonds on the band and in the halo, are lined with milgrain beading, which gives the ring a nice finished feel as well as a bit of vintage flair.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
