Center Diamond and Halo

At the top of this ring, a one carat marquise cut diamond sits in a six prong setting made of 18k white gold. The prongs are clustered at the pointed ends of the stone, with three on each side, and this helps to highlight the diamond’s elegant shape while also clearing the space on the sides to allow for a full view of the stone from those angles. This larger diamond is oriented to sit lengthwise inline with the band, which is an uncommon arrangement for this type of stone. That positioning allows the diamond to cover a greater areas of the top of the finger, helping to maximize its sparkle and dramatic presentation.

Two rows of split prong set diamonds surround this center stone in a contoured double halo that adds a glamorous flair to the piece along with some classical overtones. The halo style is a popular one for engagement rings, and it helps make the center setting appear bigger while also maximizing the brilliance of the larger stone by reflecting light up onto it. Diamond accents continue down onto the band, with two rows of split prong set diamonds running along each shank shoulder to about the three-quarter mark on each side. There are also split prong set diamonds running up the bases of the prongs below the halo, and along the bridge piece directly below the main setting on each ring front.
