Description

Our client’s grandmother center stone was entrusted to us to create this gorgeous design honoring their heirloom piece. Our designers started with some inspiration ideas from our clients and helped them view similar options to what they had in mind. Rendered images were then shared through our messaging portal. The 3D generated images are always helpful to visualize any design to achieve the best look that our clients are dreaming of.

Once happy with the details the team moves the project forward into the wax phase. A 3D wax model is provided for our clients to ensure they are satisfied with the design. Production phase is then initiated, and we promise you, you’ll enjoy every bit of the process and will fall in love with that perfect piece you were looking to design.

Round Diamond in a Halo Setting

This stunning engagement ring holds a round diamond sitting atop a metal rim. This latter is an edgeless pave halo on which lays diamond melees in a pave setting. Those stones are very small and set close together with no metal borders on the sides to frame the pave.
Just below the halo, is a hidden halo formed by the bridge gallery. Moving down from the shank until three quarters of the band, are diamond melees in pave setting. A total 164 round diamond melees are used in this exquisite ring design.

The beauty of the center stone is accentuated thanks to the halo, which adds more shine and glitter to this enchanting piece.
The overall look of this engagement ring draws the eyes to the main piece which honors and showcases our client’s grandmother round diamond.

Customize

Use this design as a starting point for a custom piece.

Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.

  1. Design and estimate

The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.

  2. 3D design review

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.

  3. Physical model

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.

  4. Approval and production

The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.

Quality

Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

Structure and support
The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
Diamond and gemstone selection
We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
Final inspection
Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Lifetime warranty and care

  • Lifetime warrantyYour custom piece is covered against manufacturing defects.
  • Inspection every six monthsOur jewelers inspect your piece and provide ongoing care for the custom jewelry we make for you.
  • Complimentary cleaningVisit us every six months for a complimentary cleaning.
Coverage conditions

For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.

Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
