Art Deco Diamond And Blue Sapphire Engagement Ring
Item #101985 $4,293 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Center Setting and Halos
The centerpiece of this ring is a one carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s bezel set in 18k white gold. There are also four tabs of metal that extend from the outer diamond halo to rest across the bezel setting at the compass positions, and this adds a dynamism and uniqueness to the center.
The diamond halo forms the outer perimeter of the main setting, running along both the top and bottom of the center in a relatively straight line following the margins of the band. It curves dramatically inward on the sides, however, and this leads to two of the tabs that converge on the center.
The spaces between the bezel setting of the main diamond and the outer diamond halo are filled with specially cut blue sapphires that are channel set and sit flush with each other. This brings a dramatic contrast with the brilliant white of the diamonds, and it helps to highlight the intricate lines of the center setting as well. Sapphire and Diamond Engagement Rings
Diamond and Milgrain Accents
Bright cut set diamonds continue down the tapering sides of the shank, and between these two rows, a single larger accent diamond is prong set within an ornate metal piece. All of the diamonds in this piece, including those in the halo, are lined with milgrain beading for some extra vintage flair. Vintage Engagement Rings Bellevue
Custom Hand Engraving
The lower portion of the band is covered with a wheat style of custom hand engraving, both on the top surface and on the ring fronts. This is a detail that our expert artisans complete by hand at the end of the production process, and that means we can also customize it in any number of ways to make it include a detail or symbol with personal significance to you and your partner.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
