Sapphire Center
The beautiful yellow sapphire at the center of this piece is cushion shaped and prong set in 14k white gold. The contrast of the stone’s delicate yellow color with the brilliant white of the metal helps the sapphire stand out, and the way the prongs curl up over the rounded corners of the stone only highlights its perfect shape. Diamond Halo
Surrounding the sapphire is a halo of shared prong set diamonds, and these add their own brilliant sparkle while also intensifying the brilliance of the center stone. The shared prong setting also leaves little metal around the diamonds, with only a single prong on the outside of each. There are quite a few options to consider if you’re thinking of customizing this ring. To begin with, you could choose a different color for the sapphire, as there are many options available. After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
