Description
This custom engagement ring is built around a breathtaking 12.31 carat elongated cushion cut diamond, set as the sole focus of the design. Four claw prongs are positioned in a compass orientation at north, south, east, and west, giving the setting a more contemporary character while leaving the elongated outline and softly rounded corners of the diamond beautifully exposed.

With a center stone of this scale, proportion becomes especially important. The sleek, substantial band gives the ring visual balance and provides added stability on the finger, helping reduce the tendency for a large center diamond to spin. Rather than introducing additional stones or decorative elements, the design keeps the shank polished and restrained so nothing competes with the center.
The elongated cushion cut brings plenty of personality on its own. Its brilliant-style faceting creates lively flashes of light across a broad surface, while its length gives the diamond an elegant, dramatic presence on the hand. Combined with the compass-set claw prongs, the result feels modern and confident without losing the simplicity of a solitaire. It is the kind of engagement ring that will naturally turn heads.
The design can also be tailored around the client's preferences and the proportions of their chosen center stone. Band width, profile, setting height, prong shape, and even the orientation of the cushion can be customized. For someone who loves the impact of this ring but wants a different interpretation, those details offer plenty of room to make the solitaire distinctly their own.
