The ring features a round blue sapphire surrounded by a halo of bright cut set diamonds. The split shank is tapered and accented with hand engraving and milgrain.
Our design team worked extensively with him to create a ring that perfectly captured his vision, and we would be happy to help you build on this design to make it truly your own. From the center blue sapphire down to the filigree and milgrain, this ring combines many delicate touches to create a truly inspired and elegant look.
Center Sapphire
A blue sapphire is a lovely and timeless choice for the center stone of an engagement ring, as it symbolizes faithfulness, loyalty, and sincerity. The stone in this particular ring is a round blue sapphire in a four prong setting which elevates it slightly over the surrounding halo of diamonds. The diamonds in the halo help to enhance the beauty of the center stone by providing contrast and added sparkle, and their circular arrangement lends a nice balance to the piece as well. Halo Options
The setting in this ring is a variation of a traditional halo due to the added milgrain and custom engraving that work together to create a more vintage look. If you are interested in customizing this design, there are several different types of halo settings available that will each give your ring a distinct look and feel. One great option is to add one or two more tiers to the halo to increase the sparkle effect and further highlight the center stone. Halo Engagement Rings Options.
Filigree and Final Touches
The filigree and custom hand engraving on this ring are other areas where you can add your own personal touch. For instance, the letters E and S on either side of the heart shape in the filigree under the center stone have special significance for our client, and you may want to adjust this design to something that carries meaning for you.
The pattern of the engraving can also be customized to almost anything you choose, and our experts are always happy to provide suggestions and resources that you can use to find the perfect design. Whether you want to keep this design mostly the way it is or use it as a jumping off point to your own unique piece, we will work tirelessly with you to make your vision a reality.
