Custom Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #1296 $6,072 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Center Setting
The centerpiece of this ring is a one carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it sits in a four prong setting made from 18k white gold. The main portions of the prongs arise from the band directly below, but pieces of filigree from the shank shoulder also rise up to join them. This brings a lovely unity to the piece, and it helps make the filigree design more part of the structure of the ring, in addition to being an accent. Unique Engagement Rings
Diamond and Filigree Accents
The filigree on the shank shoulders, as well as that on the ring fronts, is in the shape of the Ichthys, which was a particularly significant detail for the client. It is the tail of the Ichthys nearest to the center setting that continues up to integrate into the main setting, and the tails of the figures on the ring fronts extend up in a similar way to flow smoothly within the design. Diamond Engagement Rings
The bodies of the Ichthys each hold two round bright cut set diamonds, the 24 of which together total 0.18 carats. They bring a glamorous sparkle to the design, while simultaneously highlighting the elegant filigree shapes that surround them. Both the diamonds and filigree stop at about the mid-point on each side, and the band tapers after that, reaching its narrowest point across the bottom.
Milgrain beading lines the filigree sections, running along both top and inner margins of the band. This brings a satisfying, finished feel to the design, and it adds a classical touch to an otherwise contemporary style.

Joseph Jewelry
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
