Custom Diamond Halo Engagement Ring
Item #102434Engagement Ring Description
After working with a designer in person to determine the types of features he wanted for his piece, he communicated with us online and over the phone to make sure the design we created was exactly in line with his vision. Thanks to our efficient communication system and the high-tech imaging system we use for all custom design projects, we were able to get his approval and have his ring completed just in time for a perfect proposal.
Center Setting
The diamond in the center of this ring is 1.20 carats, and its radiant cut gives it a squared shape that’s complemented nicely by the four platinum prongs holding it in place. A squared halo of split prong set diamonds is set slightly lower and tucked under the main stone, and this helps the larger diamond stand out even more by reflecting additional light back up onto it.
The halo, combined with the type of setting used for the diamonds, gives the ring a hint of art deco flair, and the angles of the center setting balance nicely with the dainty curves of the rest of the band. Diamond Engagement Rings
Diamond Accents
Split prong set diamonds also run down the shoulders of the cathedral shank, ending at about the mid-way point and working to unite the two parts of the piece. These add texture to the lower part of the ring as well, and the use of the split prong setting reinforces the vintage themes found elsewhere.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
