This lovely engagement ring features a princess cut diamond prong set in white gold, with a double halo of french cut set diamonds, and additional diamond accents on the split shank. It was created as part of a custom wedding set that also included this wedding band for a client from Bellevue, WA. He first reached out to us online and visited our Bellevue showroom personally as the design process progressed.

Center Setting and Halo
The 1.01 carat princess cut diamond at the center of this piece was purchased separately by the client. We set it for him, and the way its straight lines and sharp angles stand opposed to the more curved elements in the rest of the design only help intensify its beauty. A princess cut stone is a classic choice for an engagement ring, bringing elegant sparkle along with overtones of romance and beauty.
This larger diamond is surrounded by a double halo of French cut set diamonds, which is rounded at the corners to smooth the transition into the lower portion of the piece. The use of the French cut setting gives the ring some classical flair, while the extra light the double halo reflects up onto the main stone makes its shine that much brighter.
Band Design and Accents
The band itself is lined with French cut set diamonds beginning at the half-way point and continuing up until it meets the underside of the halo. It does split shortly before reaching the main setting, with the two sides branching out so they connect just below the prongs holding the larger diamond. Diamond Engagement Rings

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
