Three-stone Center
In the center of this ring sits a one carat round brilliant cut diamond. It’s cradled in a tension setting that forms as an extension of the criss-cross split shank, and the way the strands wrap around the stone on either side helps to highlight its perfect shape. Diamond Engagement Rings
A smaller round diamond sits on either side of this center stone, and these are prong set in the space that opens up as the two strands of the shank diverge after crossing over each other. Band Design and Diamond Accents
The two strands of the shank sit next to each other at the bottom of the ring, and they slowly separate as they move up the sides, creating a gradually widening space that is quickly cut off when they veer back in to cross over each other. This is where the main setting begins, with the two side diamonds cradled in the ends of the shorter strand and the larger diamond held by the longer ones.
These longer strands that form the main setting are also lined with round bright cut set diamond accents, and these run from close to the bottom all the way up to where the strands wrap around the center stone. The accent diamonds help to highlight the movement of the strands as they cross each other, and they also bring a lovely sparkle reminiscent of a halo to the main setting.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
