Center Diamond and Halo
At the center of this ring, a brilliant cut oval diamond sits in a four prong platinum setting. It’s surrounded by a halo of pave set diamonds that follows its contours exactly, and it helps enhance the brilliance of the center stone by reflecting even more light up onto it. Diamond Engagement Rings
The halo design is a classic choice for an engagement ring, and the pave setting used here only reinforces this theme. This type of setting minimizes the amount of metal visible around and between the stones, and that makes for an even more dazzling display. It also allows the halo to smoothly curve away from the top at the edges, a detail that works perfectly with the elegant contours of the oval center diamond.
Diamond Accents and Split Shank Design
Two rows of French cut set diamonds line the strands of the split shank, and these continue even after the strands come together, ending just past the mid-point on the band. The lower portion of the shank below this tapers slightly as well, helping to give the design a nice balance.
As a finishing touch, small diamond accents also line the lower portions of the prongs below the halo on the ring fronts, and this provides some surprise sparkle when the ring is viewed from certain angles.

Joseph Jewelry
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
