Description

This elegant engagement ring features a princess cut diamond in a classic four prong white gold setting. It was created for a client from North Vancouver, BC, who initially came into our Bellevue, WA showroom to take a look at some of the pieces we had on display. After seeing what her options were, she settled on this lovely design, and she worked with our team online to perfect every detail of it.

Diamond Solitaire

A diamond solitaire is perhaps the most traditional choice for an engagement ring, but that doesn’t mean they’re all the same. In fact, there are many ways to execute this design, and it can be made to reflect just about any style. Diamond Engagement Rings

In the case of this ring, the diamond is a 0.75 carat princess cut stone, and its beautiful sparkle shines through from every angle thanks to the graceful four prong setting holding it in place. Diamonds are associated with romantic love, unmatched beauty, and passion, and they’re also quite hard, making them an excellent choice for such an important piece. Solitaire Engagement Rings

Band Design

The band itself is made of 14k white gold with a polished finish. It’s considered a cathedral shank, as the shoulders angle up to meet the sides of the center setting and gemstone. Below the stone, four strands branch off from the underside of the band to rise up and form the prongs holding the diamond. The way these prongs cross over each other is a subtle and graceful design detail, and it really completes the classic look of the piece.

Customize

Use this design as a starting point for a custom piece.

Discuss the stones, metal, proportions, setting and finish with a designer, online or in our Seattle and Bellevue showrooms. You can bring reference photographs or your own stone for us to assess.

  1. Design and estimate

The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.

  2. 3D design review

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.

  3. Physical model

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.

  4. Approval and production

The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.

Diamond and gemstone selection
We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
