Description
This beautiful engagement ring features an oval diamond prong set in the center of a split prong set halo, with additional diamond accents on the rose gold band. It was created for a client from Seattle, WA, who worked with our team both online and in person in our Bellevue, WA showroom to finalize the details of his piece.

He began by using our Ring Builder feature to share the pieces he wanted to draw from in the creation of his ring. We combined the features he requested to develop a CAD model of his design that he then provided feedback on. After integrating the changes he requested, we moved his ring into production in order to meet his desired completion date. Design Your Own Engagement Ring
Center Diamond and Halo
The diamond in the center of this ring is oval and 0.90 carats. It’s held in place by four rose gold prongs, which raise it up only high enough to allow the halo of shared prong set diamonds to tuck in underneath. The client wanted to ensure the diamond was as low as possible while still maintaining the prong setting, and this creates a great effect when the ring is viewed from the top down. Side Diamonds
On each side of the halo, a single round diamond is prong set up against the side of the main setting. These provide for an easy transition from the large center setting to the narrow band below, and they give a nice overall balance to the ring.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
