This lovely engagement ring features an oval solitaire diamond set in yellow gold, and it was created as part of a bridal set for a client from Seattle, WA to go with wedding band#102237. This couple worked with our design team, both in our Bellevue, WA showroom and online to create their ideal rings. Thanks to the advanced 3D imaging technology we use for all custom orders, they were able to see exactly what everything would look like ahead of time, and once they approved the proofs, we put their rings into production.

Diamond Solitaire
The diamond at the center of this ring is a 0.57 carat oval brilliant cut stone, displayed beautifully in a talon prong setting. The pointed ends of the prongs add a subtle level of detail to this otherwise understated design, and they provide a nice contrast to the smooth, round shape of the diamond.
The openness of the setting also helps show off the diamond from every angle, increasing its sparkle effect. And the soft yellow gold color of the setting and band only serves to intensify the stone’s brilliant appearance.
Matching Sets
The wedding band that goes with this ring was made at the same time to ensure that the two sit flush when worn together. While we recommend having both pieces in a set made like this to ensure uniformity of detailing, we can also make a wedding band to match an existing engagement ring, or vice versa. This particular wedding band features a row of bright cut set diamonds, which help reflect light back up onto the oval center of the engagement ring. Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
