Diamond Solitaire
A diamond solitaire is perhaps the most traditional choice you can make when it comes to an engagement ring. Diamonds are associated with romantic love and unmatched beauty, and having a single large diamond in your ring brings these sentiments front and center. However, just because you are choosing a traditional style for your ring doesn’t mean it can’t still also be unique. Diamond Engagement Rings
In the case of this particular ring, the diamond is a one carat round brilliant cut, and its lovely shape is complemented nicely by the gentle curves of the wrapped setting holding it in place. The two arms that form this setting arise naturally from the interlocking shank below, and their curvature is merely an extension of the movement already present in the band.
Interlocking Band
The outer portion of this ring is made up of the outer band, and this is what reaches up at the top to cradle the diamond. Inside of this, a continuous, round band sits at a slightly offset angle, causing it to appear to the right of the outer band on one side and to the left on the other. The interlocking design gives the piece a graceful elegance, and it’s subtle enough to keep the focus on the beautiful diamond at the top. Matching Wedding Sets

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
