Description
This elegant engagement ring features a large emerald cut diamond in the center of a three-stone setting, with smaller emerald cut diamonds on the sides, and all of these are prong set in white gold. It was created for a client from Bellevue, WA, who initially came to us to have her existing engagement ring repaired.

We outlined what the repairs would entail for her, but we also showed her some structural issues with the way her ring was originally built that would likely cause it to require further repairs down the line. She agreed that a rebuild using her original diamonds and with our modifications to the design was the best option, and so we removed the stones from her old ring and placed them in this gorgeous new setting. Three-stone Setting
The centerpiece of this ring is a 1.08 carat emerald cut diamond. It’s set in the center of a three-stone trellis setting, and all of the stones are prong set in white gold. These prongs originate from the same spot directly below the main diamond, and the way they curve out from there to reach their final positions gives this piece a delicate grace and elegant classical flair. The side diamonds are 0.59 carats together, and the main modification we made to the original ring design was adding two prongs on the side of each of these stones that rests up against the center. The lack of these in the client’s existing ring was what was causing her to have many issues with it, and our inclusion of them made the piece structurally sound. Custom Engagement Rings Seattle
Because all three of these diamonds were taken out of the original engagement ring, we build this setting to match their exact specifications. Their relative sizes allow for a smooth transition from the top to the tapered band below, and their angular cut is the perfect complement to the softly curving lines on the fronts of the piece.

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
