Custom Three Stone Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #103349 $4,603 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
We discussed his vision over the phone as well, and once we had a good idea of what he was after, we developed an original design for him in CAD. He immediately approved this model, and so we quickly moved his ring into production. Although he never visited our Bellevue, WA showroom personally, he was very happy with the way the piece turned out thanks to the skill and experience of our team, as well as the state-of-the-art technological tools we utilize for every custom design project we take on.
Three-stone Setting
At the top of this ring, a 0.50 carat round brilliant cut diamond is prong set in 18k white gold. The prongs holding this gorgeous stone emerge gracefully from the ornate fronts of the ring, intertwining with the prongs for the side stones on the way up. These side stones are both pear shaped diamonds, and they total 0.18 carats taken together. They’re prong set as well, sitting with their rounded ends up against the side of the center round diamond. Band Design and Hand Engraving
The band of this piece features many intricate details, the combination of which produces an overall delicate and elegant look for the ring. The bottom portion of the band is covered by a braided pattern that extends from the mid-point on one side across the bottom to the mid-point on the other side. Above this on each side, the band takes on a knife edge shape, with a center ridge that continues up until it splits to go around the pear shaped side diamonds.
Both sides of the knife edge section feature a lovely hand-engraved scroll pattern with organic overtones. This engraving was the major change that the client made to his inspiration piece, as the original had accent diamonds in this position. The engraving flows smoothly into the ornate fronts of the center setting, and it’s lined with milgrain beading on both sides for a lovely dash of vintage flair. Hand Engraving

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
