Custom Three Stone Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #104830Engagement Ring Description
Center Diamond
At the center of this ring, a 1.20 carat emerald cut diamond is cradled in four platinum prongs. Emerald cut diamonds are frequently used in vintage inspired pieces, as the step cut style of diamonds reflects an old school glamour with long rectangular cuts, versus modern triangular cuts used in diamond shapes such as round brilliant and oval diamonds. The client specifically requested a few important changes to the original design: lower the profile of the ring, remove some of the diamonds on the shank, and experiment with sapphires framing the bullet diamonds in the CAD design stage. In the end, the client chose to stick with the original classic all-diamond design.
Three-stone Setting
The accent diamonds on either side of the center diamond are custom cut bullet shaped diamonds equaling .34 carats. In keeping with the Art Deco design, bullet diamonds are step cut, and this is also consistent with the look of the emerald cut diamond in the center. The bullet diamonds have square corners on one side and are perpendicular to the center, while the opposite corner of the diamond points away from the center on each side. It is a very geometric design that could easily be customized with gemstones or different center diamond shapes. Antique Engagement Rings Seattle
Melee diamonds and milgrain frame the bezel set bullet shaped diamonds. In the original design, there were two diamonds at the end points on either side with bezel set round diamonds, but the client chose to leave those off. Finally, to add an extra sparkle, there is a bezel set princess cut diamond on each of the fronts of the ring just under the center diamond. A unique customization might be to change the peekaboo stone to a birthstone or significant colored stone.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
