This exquisite engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond in the center, with two pear-shaped tsavorite garnets completing the three-stone setting, and beautiful organic designs on the white gold band. It was created for a client from Everett, WA, who came into our Bellevue, WA showroom to learn more about the custom design process.
After this visit, he used our website to initiate his custom order, and he shared his thoughts with our designers through the online workroom we set up to manage his project. We took the information he gave us and turned it into this elegant design, which he approved immediately. He came into our showroom again to view a wax model of the ring along with the diamond and tsavorites we had sourced, and he then gave his approval to move it all into production. At the center of this ring, a round brilliant cut 0.51 carat diamond sits in a four-prong white gold setting. On either side of this gorgeous stone, a green pear-shaped tsavorite garnet is also prong set, with its rounded end up against the side of the diamond and its corner pointing down along the band.
This is a lovely twist on the traditional three-stone setting frequently used in engagement rings, as the tsavorites add a rich contrast with their elegant green color. The sparkle of the diamond is enhanced by the brilliant white of the metal it’s set in, and the green of the side stones also integrates smoothly with the organic design of the shank. Organic Band Design
Leaf shapes encircle the side tsavorites and continue down the band to the mid-point, creating an overwhelmingly organic style with classical overtones. These leaves angle across the band and overlap each other, on their way to the top, and their slightly asymmetrical placement helps reinforce the organic themes present in the design.
