Diamond And Blue Sapphire Engagement Ring
Item #102677 $4,927 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Center Setting
The centerpiece of this ring is a 0.80 carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s held in place by four 18k white gold prongs. These prongs are flat and wide, creating a bar style that gives the center setting a vaguely angular look despite the perfectly round shape of the main diamond. The prongs meet the center stone at the compass positions, framing it nicely and providing a satisfying balance that carries over into the rest of the design. Diamond Engagement Rings
Diamond and Sapphire Accents
Specialty cut blue sapphires are arranged in a ring around each of the two prongs that sit inline with the band, and these stones are shaped to sit perfectly flush with each other and with the sides of the channel setting holding them in place. They bring a burst of color to the piece as well, contrasting nicely with the brilliant white of the diamonds above and below. Vintage Engagement Rings Seattle
Just beyond the sapphire rings on the shank shoulders, round diamonds are bright cut set, with two on the top surfaces on either side of the center, and one on each ring front. These echo the shape and sparkle of the main diamond, creating a link between the two sections of the piece.
Hand Engraving and Milgrain
All of the accent stones in this ring are lined with milgrain beading, as are the engraved sections that continue around most of the lower part of the band. These start just beyond the diamond accents on each side, and they run down the top and side surfaces of the tapered shank nearly to the bottom. Their angular pattern flows perfectly with the shape of the band, and it adds to the vintage flair of the ring as well.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
