Halo Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #104014Engagement Ring Description
Center Setting and Halo
At the top of this ring, a large, round brilliant cut diamond is held in place by four white gold prongs. These prongs meet the stone at the compass positions, an arrangement that flows smoothly from the criss-cross nature of the band. The prongs also hold the diamond up so that all but the tip of it is visible when the ring is viewed from the side. Diamond Engagement Rings
Surrounding the lower portion of the center stone is a diamond halo that’s divided into four stylized sections. Each section holds four bright cut set diamonds, and they all feature a curving outer margin that give them a shape somewhat reminiscent of a flower petal. These sections each sit between one pair of prongs, and so the way they wrap around the center stone as a group gives the entire assembly a decidedly floral feel.
Two-tone Band Design
The band of this ring is composed of two 18k yellow gold strands that cross back and forth over each other on the way up each side. The warm tones of the yellow gold create a striking contrast with the silvery shine of the white gold in the center setting, and that only helps to emphasize the central position of the main diamond and its surrounding halo. Diamond and Milgrain Accents
Small round diamonds are bright cut set down both strands of the criss-cross shank, continuing nearly all the way around. These bring a dazzling sparkle to the piece along with another layer of contrasts, and they’re lined with milgrain beading for some extra vintage flair. As a finishing touch, two round diamonds are bezel set on each ring front, directly below the main setting.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
