This striking engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond in the center of a halo of split prong set diamonds, accented by additional diamonds running down the shoulders of the yellow gold shank. Center Diamond and Halo
The largest diamond in this ring is round brilliant cut and 1.25 carats. It’s prong set in 14k yellow gold, and the setting holds the diamond up comfortably above the level of the surrounding halo. This halo is made up of split prong set diamonds, and rather than following the contours of the center stone, it assumes more of a cushion shape. Diamond Engagement Rings
That arrangement helps make the center setting appear even larger, and it also brings a bit of vintage flair to the design. The contrast between the shapes of the center diamond and the halo also works to emphasize the perfect curves of the latter, while their combined sparkle brings a truly glamorous flair to the design.
Diamond Accents
The yellow gold band is narrow and straight all the way around, a detail that adds to the impressive appearance of the large main setting at the top. Helping to form a connection between the two sections of the piece are the round accent diamonds that are split prong set down both shank shoulders. Unique Engagement Rings
These accents stones are smaller than the diamonds found in the halo, but they perfectly fill the space available, covering the top surface of the band perfectly. The use of the same setting style in both areas is a unifying detail, and the accents continue to the mid-point on each side, bringing a nice balance to the piece.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
