Hand Engraved Bezel Solitaire Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #105297 $3,676 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Bezel Set Solitaire Diamond
The lone gemstone in this ring is a 0.80 carat round brilliant cut diamond whose dazzling white sparkle contrasts beautifully with the warm 18k yellow gold that makes up the rest of the piece. This contrast is emphasized by the use of a bezel setting, which completely encircles the edge of the diamond, simultaneously highlighting its elegant lines and providing protection from damage.
Band Design and Hand Engraving
That bezel setting is perfectly situated atop a narrow yellow gold band that's accented with lovely hand engraving on both the top surface and the faces. The main portion of the shoulders of the band rise to meet the side of the center setting, narrowing to a point as they do so, while a thinner segment continues along its original arc to pass directly below the diamond. Several strands of polished yellow gold also extend down below the diamond to meet the lower portion of the band below, helping to bring a satisfying balance to the piece.
The delicacy of the bezel setting was a detail that was particularly important to this client, and so we adjusted our digital models until they were exactly in line with his vision for the piece. He selected the style of engraving also, and these are both areas in which you could make modifications to add your own unique touch should you choose to customize this design.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
