Center Lab-Created Radiant Diamond
The center of this ring is a 2.72 carat radiant cut diamond. It is a lab-created diamond, meaning it was created from pressurized carbon above ground instead of below ground. Lab-created diamonds are becoming more and more popular because of their eco-friendliness and affordability. In beauty and durability, lab diamonds are identical to natural diamonds. Hidden Halo
Under the center diamond, there is a hidden halo of diamonds. This is a unique feature allows more light to be reflected in the stone and more sparkle from the side views. The diamonds are split prong set and add an extra element of glamour to the piece. Diamond Engagement Rings
Pave Shank
The head of the ring with the center stone and a hidden halo are mounted high on the shank without a cathedral, allowing an eventual wedding band to sit flush with the engagement ring. Moving down from there, almost the entire shank is set with pave diamonds. In total, the melee diamonds of this ring weigh 0.94 carats, which provides substantial sparkle.
Pave diamonds are a French setting style meant to visually look like the piece is "paved" with diamonds, utilizing as little metal as possible. Traditionally, this style incorporates a minimum of 3 rows of diamonds to create that look, as this ring does. These diamonds are set on the top and both fronts, covering the entire shank and stopping just before the bottom to allow for a sizing area on the ring.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
