Description
This solitaire engagement ring features a 3 carat elongated cushion cut center stone set in a compass orientation, within 4 claw prongs. That prong placement gives the ring a more directional, modern look while still allowing the soft outline of the elongated cushion to remain clearly visible. The center is elevated above a sleek square-profile shank that gives the ring a cleaner, more tailored character than a traditional rounded band. From the side, the setting remains open and refined, allowing the diamond to stand out without visual heaviness. The structure is designed so that a wedding band can sit flush against the ring, creating a clean, flawless look.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
