This dazzling engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond prong set atop a white gold band, accented with split prong set diamonds on the shank shoulders. It was created for a client from Bellingham, WA, who came into our Bellevue, WA showroom personally to start the custom design process. Center Setting
At the top of this ring, a 1.28 carat round brilliant cut diamond sits in a four prong setting that rises gracefully up from the 18k white gold band below. The prongs follow the contours of the stone on the way up, and the openness of the setting allows plenty of light to reach the diamond, which only helps to enhance its brilliance.
Diamond Accents
Split prong set accent diamonds run down both shank shoulders, with eight on each side of the center. These are all small and round, and they extend down slightly below the mid-point on the band. They also span the entire width of the shank, leaving very little metal visible around and between them for an even more glamorous look. The use of the split prong setting adds some classical flair to the ring, and it allows for a narrow and delicate band, which was just what the client was after. Antique Engagement Rings

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
