Platinum Custom Diamond Halo Engagement Ring
Item #104264 $4,559 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
The client began the custom design process by reaching out to us through our website, although he did visit our Bellevue, WA showroom later on to pick out his center diamond in person. Once our CAD proofs had been finalized, we also shipped a wax model to him so that he could examine a physical representation before giving his final approval to move things into production. Center Diamond and Halo
The centerpiece of this ring is a 1.10 carat pear-shaped diamond, and it’s held in place by three prongs made of 14k rose gold. Surrounding this elegant stone is a contoured halo of split prong set diamonds, and this detail, combined with the shape of the center, helps establish the vintage style the client was after. Diamond and Sapphire Accents
Split prong set diamonds run down the narrow shoulders of the shank as well, and they tie in nicely with the diamonds in the halo as well as those used in the matching wedding band. The accents stop about half-way down each side of the band, which is also consistent with their placement in the wedding ring.
Directly below the center diamond, a round blue sapphire is bezel set on each ring front, and these create a striking color contrast, both with the rose gold and with the brilliant white sparkle of the diamonds. This was a detail the client requested specifically, and it’s a great way to work in a gemstone or color with special personal significance for you and your partner.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
