Description
This elegant engagement ring features an emerald cut diamond in the center of a three-stone setting, with Old European cut diamonds on the sides, and bright cut set diamond accents in a wrapped shank. The design was created for a client from Issaquah, WA , who shared some inspiration pieces with us, and then asked us to create a perfect ring to complete his perfect proposal.

We consulted with him online to get approval for the details of the design, and he also came into our Bellevue, WA showroom personally to take a look at a wax model of the ring before giving his final go-ahead to send the piece into production.
Three-stone Setting
The main setting in this ring includes three stones, with the center a 0.71 carat emerald cut diamond. It’s held securely with four 14k white gold prongs that rise up from the inner band below, and its squared shape is perfectly complemented by the rounded edges of the two side stones that complete the setting.Diamond Engagement Rings
These side stones are Old European cut, which is not a style you often see in rings these days, and that helps to increase the uniqueness of this piece. All three stones of these main stones were taken from a family ring, and we worked to create the perfect setting to give them new life and really show off their beauty. Three Stone Engagement Rings
Wrapped Shank and Accent Diamonds
The shoulders of this cathedral shank curve to the side as they approach the center setting so that they each wrap around one side. This gives a wonderful movement to the piece, and it works well with the rounded shape of the side stones as well to create a nice harmony of features.
The shank shoulders are lined with bright cut set diamonds to the half-way point, and this brings added sparkle to the piece as well as a bit of classical flair. The balance between the wrapped edges of the shank, the round accent stones, and the squared center diamond is executed to perfection, and the combination results in a truly timeless design. 3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
