Platinum Three-stone Oval And Half Moon Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #105118 $5,397 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
The overall design was dictated by two pieces the client saw in our showroom. The first piece was the inspiration for the top-down view of the ring with an oval center, four double prongs, and half-moon accents. The second design provided the ideation for the filigree below the center diamond as well as the halo addition. Design Your Own Engagement Ring
Diamond Accents
This ring features three different shapes of diamond: oval, round, and half moon. The center diamond is a lab-grown oval weighing 1.63 carats. There is a half moon diamond on either side of the oval. Half moon diamonds are a less common cut in jewelry because of the rare shape: it is half of a circle, with the outer edge rounded and then a perfectly flat side. They are most commonly used to enhance a center diamond in a three-stone style engagement ring. The half-moons on this ring are bezel set in the design with milgrain surrounding the diamonds. They add a taper to the overall aesthetic of the ring. Diamond Engagement Rings
Between the center and the half moon diamonds, there is a small halo to add a bit of extra sparkle. These diamonds are split prong set and just barely add a frame to slightly enlarge the look of the center diamond. Three Stone Engagement Rings
Vintage While Modern
The style of this ring is more modern than vintage because of the halo and round diamond shapes. However, the milgrain around the half moon diamonds adds a vintage touch, along with the filigree in scroll shapes below the center diamond and halo.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
